Child support is nearly impossible to have decreased over time by the courts, even if the ex-spouse’s financial situation has changed. Inability to pay can even land you in jail.

Divorce Corp, which premiered in theaters January 10, 2014 and is now available on DVD, Blu-ray and as a digital download on iTunes, is an explosive documentary that exposes the appalling waste, and shameless collusive practices within the U.S. family law industry. More money and more people flow through the family courts than any other court system in America combined – now grossing over $50 billion a year.

Divorce and Empty Nest Syndrome| Divided, Survived and Thriving with Alice Mcdonald

0

Divorce and Empty Nest Syndrome. In this episode of Divided, Survived, and Thriving, The Split Coach, Laila Aitken, and Alice Mcdonald, International Separation and Divorce Coach discuss how to create a life by design after a long-term marriage and how to come out the other side of your divorce happier than ever.

She chose to end her long-term marriage out of love and respect for herself at the additionally unsettling time when her children were approaching adulthood. She went from being a wife and full-time mum to a single empty nester in a very short space of time.

In the past few years, Alice has spent time crying on the floor of the shower, trying to keep her sh*t together for her kids, rediscovering who she is, what she loves, and her purpose in life. She has come out the other side of her divorce happier than ever and is enjoying creating her life by design.

Alice works with women who are going through separation or divorce and have older teens or adult children. Women who are ready to find themselves again, confidently reclaim their independence and create a future filled with success, peace, and happiness.

Full of heart, giggles, and honest conversations, Alice now uses her experience to empower women worldwide to move beyond divorce, motherhood, and empty nest syndrome to embrace their own version of success and happiness.

Alice lives in sunny Perth, Western Australia, and has two older children (one adult son at university and daughter just about to finish high school), a fur-child, and a five-year-old rescue dog, Abbey.

The One Thing You Need to Move On from Divorce | From a Divorce Coach

0

If you feel stuck after your divorce and don’t know how to move on, there is probably one simple thing holding you back. In this video I’ll explain the one thing you need to move on from divorce. As a relationship coach who specializes in working with men after divorce, I have seen a lot of people get stuck. Their ex moves on… but they just can’t. The one thing they have in common? Resentment. It may be subconscious, but it’s there.

If you are ready to get closure on your divorce, rebuild your confidence and start living a better life beyond divorce, I am here to help.

BOOK A FREE CONSULT WITH ME: https://calendly.com/rachaelsloan/strategy

I’m Rachael. I help men get through divorce and rebuild who they are to get healthy, get happy and move on with confidence.

That is what this channel is all about. I’ll show you how to handle intense and painful emotions, unravel what went wrong in your marriage (and heal those wounds) and build a clear roadmap for success in future relationships.

What makes me different from other coaches & therapists?

I don’t waste your time with affirmations, communication skills or changing bad habits. I go deep. To the root cause of your problems. I’m not scared of your emotions. And I don’t cling to a single approach or technique. I help you discover what works for you, because above all else, I believe in you.

You are not broken.

And you certainly aren’t the man your ex describes.

You have good intentions. You want stability. You want love and passion. You want to be seen for who you are. You want to stop pretending and still be desired and loved. It’s all possible. I know, I’ve seen it happen.

Are you ready? Schedule a free strategy session with me and we’ll lay out a strategy that fits your situation and goals. https://calendly.com/rachaelsloan/strategy

DISCLAIMER: I am a Master NLP Practitioner and personal growth mentor. The material in this video represents my understanding and experience and nothing more. This content is not meant to replace professional medical advice, treatment or diagnosis. Always consult your medical provider before making any changes to your treatment.

The one thing you need to move on from divorce is to find forgiveness. That sounds simple… but it isn’t so easy to do. You have to learn how to forgive your ex wife despite all of the awful things she put you through. Despite the things she put your children through or your family through. Finding forgiveness is about releasing resentment so you can finally let your wife go and move on from your divorce.

Why is it so hard to move on from divorce in the first place? It’s hard because there is so much pain and hurt that has taken place. You regret actions you took (or didn’t take). And you resent your ex, often for not giving you another chance once you realized how you needed to change to fix the marriage. You did the work… why did she give up so fast? How could she let go like that?

Let’s talk about how to move on from divorce. The one thing I see holding most people back is resentment. That resentment serves a purpose. It feels good. It feels vindictive. It can be important to your sense of identity and self. If you forgive your ex wife are you condoning her side of the story? Are you agreeing with her?

This is one reason why it is so hard to move on from divorce. The secret to how to move on from your ex wife is to forgive her and let go of the resentment that has been poisoning your life ever since the divorce. Not moving on keeps you trapped. It doesn’t actually hurt her.

To get over your wife leaving you isn’t as simple as saying, “I forgive you”. It requires digging deeper. You have to strive to understand both your wife and yourself as a human being whose actions are based on thoughts and stories they’ve learned to believe over an entire lifetime of experiences. Recognizing and understanding your wife’s behavior is key to feeling compassion for her and moving forward with your life.

Quarantined Couples Are Filing For Divorce

0

Some couples are finding out that they don’t like each other’s constant company in quarantine as much as they’d hoped. Business is booming for many divorce attorneys as some married couples are finding that time together isn’t bringing them closer to their spouse, it’s driving them apart. Family therapist Melissa Thoen says that the coronavirus pandemic is causing couples to make big decisions about their futures. For some people, that means having discussions they’d been avoiding, until now. #InsideEdition
