Abuse, divorce, depression, neglect. Heather’s life spiraled out of control as she tried to cope with her pain through substance abuse. With drugs driving her life, Heather lost everything.
She was in and out of multiple Miracle Hill Ministry facilities. Feelings of hopelessness engulfed her. Finally, she new something had to change.
Heather humbled herself and re-entered Cherokee County Rescue Mission…this time with a different attitude.
At Miracle Hill, we know that the recovery process is not linear. Many of our guests have stayed with us on more than one occasion while working towards healthy independence, stability, and freedom.
