A woman in Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh has sought a divorce from her husband just 18 months after her marriage. She has approached the Sharia court in Sambhal to seek a divorce, leaving the court puzzled. Why? Her husband loves her too much and does not fight with her.
According to a report in Hindi daily Dainik Jagran, the woman said she could not digest her husband’s “too much” love for her. The woman said she has never had a fight with her husband in the past 18 months and she was “fed up”.
