Rottenborn hails from Virginia. He graduated with the highest honors from the University of Virginia and earned his law degree from Stanford Law School. After graduation, he worked as a judicial clerk for the Hon. David G. Campbell, U.S. District Judge for the District of Arizona. He has also been an adjunct instructor in law school at the University of Virginia School of Law. Depp is suing Heard, the actress’ ex-wife, over the article that she published in the year 2018 in The Washington Post in which she called herself a vicAttention. Attraction has been attracted to lawyers in the $50 million defamation trial that Johnny Depp is undergoing in the state of Virginia.
